How It Works
Wizard Card is a collectible card game on Solana. Every card in the collection is a single on-chain asset, held by one wallet at a time.

This page explains where the cards come from: how many exist, how a mint draws one, how each card got its type, suit, element, rarity and stats, and what you can do with a card once it is yours.

Live numbers. The figures on this page are read from the programs and the collection while you look at it.

Distribution
Every card is released through one public mint. There is no allowlist, no auction and no team reserve: the price is the same for everyone, and each mint draws one card from the pool nobody has minted yet.

Once every card is minted, the only way to get one is the marketplace or a trade with another player.

 How A Card Is GeneratedCollapse
How A Card Is Generated
You do not choose what you mint. The cards were generated before launch, and every mint draws one of the cards nobody has minted yet, at random:

1. Each card is one of the 60 cards of the Wizard deck: the numbers 1 to 13 in four suits, four Wizards and four Jesters, each printed several times.
2. Each card was given a rarity, and the rarity set the band its four stats were rolled in, so a Legendary is not only scarcer, it is stronger.
3. Wizards and Jesters land in the high tiers more often than number cards, and get a bonus on top of their rolls.
4. The mint program picks the card from the remaining pool with the newest Solana slot hash, the minter's address and the mint counter, so nobody picks the outcome in advance.

Type, suit, element, rarity and stats are part of the card from the start, and they are revealed when the card is minted. Minted cards can be looked up on EXPLORE CARDS.

 Ownership And MetadataCollapse
Ownership And Metadata
Your wallet is your account. There is no username, no password and nothing to register: the wallet holding a card owns it, and Solana is the record. The first time a wallet connects, the site asks for one signature to confirm it is yours. It costs nothing and moves nothing.

Each card's metadata carries its number, type, suit, element, rarity and four stats, plus its artwork, stored on IPFS. The artwork may be replaced by a higher resolution version later; a card's number, type, suit, rarity and stats stay as they were published.

Disconnecting your wallet does not move anything. It only stops this site from reading which cards are yours.
 Secondary MarketCollapse
Secondary Market
Once a card is yours, there are two ways to move it.

Sell it. List the card at a price you set, in WIZ. Anyone can buy it. The marketplace fee is … of the sale price, taken from the seller; you receive the rest. While it is listed the card waits in the marketplace escrow, and you can take the listing down at any time while it is unsold.

Trade it. Offer one of your cards to the holder of a specific card, in exchange for that card. No price and no fee, just a swap both sides agree to. Your card waits in escrow until the other player accepts or declines, or you withdraw the offer.

Cards listed on Magic Eden show up in the marketplace too, marked ME. Buying one of those happens on Magic Eden.

 Getting StartedCollapse
Getting Started
1Connect your wallet. Use the link at the top of any page. Phantom, Solflare and the other Solana wallets work. Your address replaces the "Wallet not connected" line once it is done.
2Get WIZ. Mints and marketplace prices are paid in WIZ. Keep a little SOL in the wallet for network fees.
3Get your first card. Mint one from the remaining supply, or buy a specific card on the marketplace where you can see exactly what you are getting.
4Read your card. Open it to see its type, suit, element, rarity and four stats.
5Build a collection. My Cards holds everything your wallet owns. Explore Cards lets you hunt by rarity, type, element and status. Sell or trade the cards you do not need.
